After being denied entry into the Philippines over 18 months ago, God clearly led us to Living Alternatives Ministries in
East Texas. Patti is the full time volunteer director running, recruting, training volunteers, and providing patient care for
their mobile women’s unit.
The amount of ministry is amazing. It is obvious
why God planted us here at this time. Marko is locally coaching, mentoring, and teaching. He is also remotely running the
ministry in the Philippines.
When we heard the borders had opened up, our desire was to pack up and relocate right away. “Wait a minute (pondering)…it is obvious we were placed here in Texas.” Hmmm…we prayed about going back. After praying, we both separately got the direction of going to the Philippines for one month. “What?! That’s not what we expected!” The Lord is full of surprises!
This is the new direction. We will continue to run two ministries both here in Texas and in the Philippines. It is not what we thought…but we are excited. Now it’s full steam ahead!
